Computer Teachers Vacancy Regard - CM CELL Reply

It is learnt that a case has been filed before Hon’ble Madras High Court with a request to issue direction to School Edn Dept to fill up the 750 vacant posts of Computer Instructors in Govt Hr. Sec. Schools, to teach the Computer Science subject to XIth and XIIth std, with M.Sc, B.Ed qualification as per the NCTE regulations 2014 instead of U.G.Qualification with B.Ed as Government had issued order in this regard. It is also learnt that the Directorate of School Education has positively conveyed its reply to CM Cell petition (2018/941363/BW dt 18.03.18) vide their Letter R.C.No.14193/V1/E2/2018 dt 06.04.18. 

However, it is learnt that SED/DSE has not yet filed any counter reply to the writ petition (pending nearly 10 months) which is against the spirit of the Tamilnadu State Litigation Policy 2012. PAR (S) Dept vide G.O (Ms) No.33 dated 06.04.18 has given absolute power to Head of Dept in the matter of recruitment of vacant posts. Now, it is learnt from the newspapers that Hon’ble Education Minister wants to fill up the P.G. Assts through PTA. The Computer Science subject matter is pending in court ( sub-judice) and cannot be filled through PTA. It is therefore requested to DSE to file counter reply, as already positively conveyed to CM Cell petition, to decide the case at the earliest taking into account of the welfare of the XIth and XIIth students of Govt Higher Sec. Schools in Tamilnadu
