Sarojini damodaran foundation (SDF) a non profit organisation setup by Mr S.d.shibulal (co-founder and EX CEO, Infosys) and Mrs Kumari is shibulal patron in 1999. we are glad to inform you that we have launched our prestigious vidyadhan scholarship scheme for the students of Tamilnadu in 2016. currently we have over 6500 students in our program across Kerala Karnataka Tamil Nadu Pondicherry Andhra Pradesh Telugu Maharashtra Gujarat Goa Odisha Delhi Ladak Bihar and Jharkhand states. sofa r we have given 33200 scholarships and have many doctors engineers nurses etc. among our alumini. agar yahi mis to scale it to 100000 scholarships covering 10000 students across India within the next 4 to 5 years.
Vidyadhan scholarships program supports the college education of meritorious students from economically challengers families. the students are selected after completion of 10th grade through a rigorous selection process. they will be initially eligible for 2 years scholarship of rs 10000 year for the intermediate studies. if they continue to do well they will be given scholarship for purusuming any degree course of the year interest this scholarships or directly through the foundation of external sponsor who have registered with the foundation. the scholarship amount for graduation where is from rupees 10000 to rupees 16000 per year. the selected students are also provided training on soft skills and career counselling.
The scholarship is for economically backward students from families with an annual income below rs 2 lakhs.
Tamil Nadu plus 1 scholarship program 2023: the students should have passed the year 10th or SSLC examination this year from Tamilnadu with more than 80 percentage 60 percentage for students with disability) those selected students will be eligible for two-year scholarship from the foundation. if they continue to do well they will be given scholarship for pursuing any degree course of their interest. dosaligible can apply online by login into www.vidyadhan.org till 15th August 2023.
