*It seems Government servant’s patience is being tested as announcement of DA hike due from July 2019 is getting delayed for unknown reasons.*
*Govt Servants expect the announcement should be made before Durga Puja*
*Usually the Union Cabinet Chaired by Prime Minister give its approval for DA hike proposal in the first week of September for July DA instalment.*
*The January 2019 DA hike proposal got its approval on 19th February 2019*
*Accordingly, the July DA hike should have been announced in the Month of August.*
*But there is no sign of announcement of DA for July 2019 even in the end of September.*
*Since Durga Puja is just a few days away, government servants expect that the payment of increased DA with arrears to be paid before Durga Puja.*
*Already PLB and non PLB Bonus are also due for announcement.*
*As PM was on seven day visit to United States from 21-9-2019 to 27-9-2019, the Union Cabinet could not meet.*
*It appears that this may be the reason for delay in announcing DA hike for July 2019.*
