7th Pay Commission Latest News: The hopes of over 50 lakh Central Government employees for a hike in fitment factor and minimum pay beyond 7th Pay Commission recommendations are growing day-by-day. If reports are to be 

believed, a good news regarding an increase in the minimum pay and fitment factor beyond 7th Central Pay Commission or 7th CPC recommendations can be expected in the third week of August. Several reports have claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an announcement on the hike of up to 3.68 per cent in fitment factor and up to Rs 8,000 in minimum pay on August 15, i.e Independence Day. With a raise of Rs 8,000, the minimum pay of the Central Government employees will reach at Rs 26,000._
